THQ Planning Metro 2033 Sequel

THQ  has confirmed a sequel to Metro 2033, the post-apocalyptic shooter from 4A games, is in development. The publisher was a bit tight-lipped about the project, but offered a few details about what to expect.

"4A Games are indeed working on a new Metro title, although we're still very early in pre-production," a representative told us. "Working title is 'Metro 2034' but don't expect a straight sequel to Metro 2033 or even parallels with Glukhovsky's book"

Core games VP, Danny Bilson recently told CVG the sequel is one of four titles the publisher plans to release in 3D, including the first game.

THQ is should have more details about the game soon, so stay tuned.

Great news for the 100 people that played it.  So sad I heard it was very good.

As one of those few who played it i can't wait for the sequal, i also can't wait for the DLC. I just hope they keep up with it and dont abandon it, becuase it really was a great game.
