I agree with all of the winners but hd remake that should of went to the Ico and Shadow of the colossus collection.  My reasoning is few people have played those games and everyone has played Halo

Ico & Shadow HD Collection is sweet for sure, but they did not completely rework the graphics for the game with new skins and a better engine like Halo Anniversary did. If you have not played Anniversary yet, I highly suggest you do because you will then clearly see more time, effort and creativity was put into the remake of Halo Anniversary. You can hit the select button at any time while playing and switch between the original halo graphics and the new graphics on the fly. The difference between the original and new graphics is night and day. Also the addition of co-op to the original single player campaign. The complete xbox live multiplayer suite on original Halo maps with the ability to import maps into Halo Reach. Added skull mutators, and new in game terminals with extended cut scenes to deepen the story. Anyways, Ico was more like the Metal Gear HD collection. The games are exactly the same as they always were, even the textures... the old visuals have simply been sharpened and upscaled to 720p resolution.

And this is purely opinion, but, I also think the first Halo is a better game than both Ico and Shadow. And that may be biased because I am always in favor of Microsoft products over Sony products.

Not sure why I felt like I needed to explain all that, but yea...  

p.s. considering the type of gamer you are, I'm surprised you like Ico or Shadow at all. they dont seem like your usual cup of tea?

I hear what you are saying, but even though the Ico & Shadow collection did not change much it is still in the HD remake category.  It would be nice to introduce people to two forgotten classics is all.  Halo 1 is my favorite Halo BTW.

I do like to stray from my particular genre of game every so often to see what else is out there.

Hahaha. Yea, I guess I do talk about it alot on FTR. Almost as much as I talk about Alan Wake.

I think Zelda: OoT 3D was actually the best remake. Not only does it look soooo much better, but they fixed a ton of little things that people hated about the original (Like how effing hard the water temple was) and it came with OoT Master Quest, which is a rare, really difficult version of the game.
I dont know, I dont think a re-skinned version with multiplayer that isnt anything we havent played before makes Halo:A not as well done. I mean yeah, the graphics are a lot better, but so are Zelda's for the 3DS.

Like the EPIC being the studio of the year. I know how much you love your Gears, but eh.. I just dont see how they would be.

Halo was actually completely re done with textures and skins, plus they added new content like the skulls, terminals, campaign co-op, kinect functionality, xbox live support, etc.

Now while Zelda is one of my favorite IPs, the Zelda OoT for 3DS is nothing more than sharpened graphics and the game is exactly the same as the first time I played it with stereoscopic 3D added.

Halo Anniversary feels like a labor of love, whereas Zelda OoT feels more like an easy cash-in. It is just obvious, atleast to me, that more time was spent in making Halo Anniversary the best experience it could possibly be. Since literally everyone is doing remakes of old games now, you need to do more than just shine the shoes... you need to re-paint the shoes, give them brand new laces and make them feel like a brand new pair of shoes. Shined shoes look better, but no matter how you look at them... they are still the same old shoes.
