What race did you chose and any quick pro-tips for new players?

Argonian, because A. I love reptiles... & B. Because they can breathe under water.

I usually discover as many locations as possible out the gate and do all the faction missions before doing the main storyline. I am already leader of the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. Will probably do the Companions next... You can climb any mountain, just hug the wall and walk from left to right. You can also descend any mountain, just move very slowly. Haha. If I think of anything else I will post it.

no but I am very interested.  I don't typically like those very deep and time consuming RPGs, but I will try to force myself to play it.

Yea, you seem pretty particular about your genres. Looking at your played games on LIVE it seems you mainly just play shooters and brawlers. Did you ever finish Alan Wake? You should finish it, game is one of the best ever. Skyrim is awesome game... I have been hooked to it. You should definitely play it, but only if you are gonna enjoy it because there is so much to do that you will be playing it for a good long while. Also, I HIGHLY recommend Saints Row 3. I have been having more fun with SR3 than I have with any game in a quite a while. It's such a joy to play and you will be laughing the whole time and theres TONS of stuff to do. SR3 is everything GTA is not... it's over the top awesome.  Get both Skyrim & Saints 3 and you will be tied up for quite a while. I would recommend taking atleast a week off of work. =)

No I have not beaten Alan Wake yet I will try to get back into it after the gaming release rush we are in.

I like RPGs like Mass Effect and Dragon Age II, but I don't like playing a game for ten hours and then it starts getting good.  Every video I've seen and everything i've heard about Skyrim makes me very interested.  I have even researched what race fits my play style.

I am very excited for Saints Row I loved the first one and this looks like it has what I like most about GTA games, the run around and cause trouble.
