To be honest as long as the console has the following, you shouldn't have any signs of RROD. I have left mine on for HOURS (all 3 now that I think of it...halo limited slim, gears, and glossy 250 slim)and never had any problems.
  • Make sure that the system is well ventilated !!! When I made a trip to P's house I saw he had taken the bigger erasers and stuck one under each foot of the console. This lifted it where air could flow nicely above and below the system (if its laying down).
  • DUST OFTEN!! Dust is the MAIN killer people seem to forget about the most. A little never hurt, but alot could cost you a new system.
  • Keep your room temperature at a decent level. I know that I like my room almost hot, so I bought a cheep $5 usb fan to help pull the system heat off. It works, but I also run a fan in the room or lower the a/c so I'm not killing my system trying to compensate for its heat and the heat of the room.[/color]
